A collection of my writing and photography from the last ten years, this site documents my love affair with London, surviving my twenties and hurtling towards my forties. I’m interested in the ordinary every day, how it becomes remarkable in the right light, and how everything is extraordinary given enough space.
I started writing about running (the pain, the joy, the community), found my stride writing about motherhood (the pain, the joy, the community). I’m now exploring what it means to be staring down my middle years, transitional, liberating and terrifying in equal measure
I tend to shoot digital, with my very hardy Canon 600D and I prefer a 50mm lens – but I am branching out into 35mm film for the pure joy of it, taking inspiration from my daily rituals – turning up for the lens or the page in-between the humdrum brilliance of the day to day
